Body Parts, Unframed

Body Parts, Unframed

This classic 1899 legal print first appeared in a UK magazine, "The Victorian", reporting that the loss of any part of one's anatomy "is a trifling matter compared with what it was in the old days". The message was that financially, it was advantageous to lose a limb since court awards far exceeded the costs of an artifical limb. Print measures 11 1/2" x 8 1/4". Printed on heavyweight ivory paper. Unframed only.
